Canadian Food Review: Poutine, eh?

About three weeks ago, we visited a Canadian restaurant called Poutine, eh? When we first arrived, we were blown away by the Canadian decorations. There were Canadian flags, celebrities, and sports teams, as well as other red and white decorations.
All of us being very hungry, we excitedly decided what we wanted and then sat down. We ordered a few things so we could get a good idea of Canadian food. The first thing we got was the baskets of cheese curds, fries coated in gooey cheese and other toppings. We had two tables and we ordered four different baskets, so each table took two and switched. Our first one was fries coated in barbecue sauce, I believe, which was very good (9/10). The second one, was my favorite by far, fries covered in bacon and ranch! This one was SUPER AMAZING (100/10) and everyone at my table agreed. The other two baskets were also very good, but I was too focused on how good the bacon and ranch one was to remember what they were...it all worked out very well because the other table liked the other two baskets, so we all got the ones we liked.
Finally, many peoples favorites...dessert! We ordered two types of dessert, one was caramel and chocolate, while the other was Reese's and chocolate. I'm not much of a chocolate fan, so I didn't really like either of these. Other people in our class thought these were delicious though, so it's definitely just me. Right before we left, we bought some Canadian candy since they sell it there! I thought this was really cool, and the next week we got to try them at school. My favorite (and the rest of the class, too) was the Mr. Maple cookies. They were kind of like Oreos, a cookie with yummy stuff in the middle...except they were shaped like maple leaves, and had WONDERFUL maple syrup stuff in the middle. I loved it (100/10). They were amazing. We were all begging for more. We tried some other candies, too, like Mr. Big, Crispy Crunch, Aero, and some Wine Gummies (I think that's what they were called). I didn't really like Mr. Big (7/10), but again, this was a chocolate bar. Aero was another favorite in our class, it was pretty good (9/10). This one was a chocolate bar, but with mint inside. Next, Crispy Crunch. Crispy Crunch is basically a Crunch bar but with a bit of a different crunch, and I enjoyed this one! The last candy was the Wine Gummies...I think maybe one person in our class enjoyed this one, to be honest. They were round little gummies that came in different flavors, and as soon as we opened the package, we were overwhelmed by the smell of vinegar. We were all pretty good sports and tried it out, but most of us weren't very impressed. They were really hard, and even tasted like vinegar. I hope that's not what they were supposed to taste like?? Kind of nasty, but it had a sort of good flavor (5/10).
Overall, our experience at Poutine, eh? was awesome! We had lots of fun, loved the decorations, were AMAZED by the food, and the customer service was great, too! The people were super nice, and helpful when we were trying to figure out what to get. I would definitely come back here with my family and tell anyone who wanted to try Canadian food to try it here! My mouth still waters when I think of the bacon and ranch cheese curds...
