goals for the year
It’s almost the end of the school year and honestly, I’m a little sad to be done. I’ve had so much fun this year! Well…maybe not so much my Foods class. Ha! I have a truckload of goals for the rest of 2023 and I thought I’d share some with y’all.
Number one on priority list right now is passing my driving test! I’m slightly scared to death on this one, but if I study and practice a ton, I should be okay. I’ve had 6 weeks of drivers ed and I’m definitely not sad to be done with this one. As fun as it was, I’m excited to not have to leave my tennis practice early or sacrifice going to matches in order to get to class on time.
This summer I really want to learn how to ride a horse better by the end of the summer. This has been one of my goals for a long time, and I’m hoping I can squeeze in some time this summer to practice. Since my grandma has horses, this one shouldn’t be hard to achieve!
Next one is learning how to eat healthier. I’ve noticed I feel much better and have way more energy when I eat food with actual nutrition. It’s way hard though! Luckily my mom is a healthy chick and I can ask her to help me.
I have so many more but I’ll just share this last one. I love being outside and in the dirt, and I want to have a garden this summer. I’ve started some flowers and things inside, and as soon as the danger of frost is over, they’re going in the ground! I want to do mostly flowers, but I would also like to have herbs and a few vegetables too.
I’m excited to see how my summer goes and I’m going to work hard on achieving what I want this year. Thanks for reading and that’s all for now!
