                                     Homecoming at Connell High

        Homecoming week was so fun!! On the first day, the theme was Western or Hollywood. I didn't have anything Hollywood themed, but I had a lot of western. On Tuesday the theme was starry night so everybody dressed in black or sparkly clothes. Wednesday was class color day. Seniors wore blue, Juniors white, Sophomores red, Freshman green and all of the staff wore black. We also had a BBQ Wednesday night. There was tug of war and dodge ball too. Thursday was Retro or neon day. There was a lot of neon. Friday was extreme purple and gold. That evening there was a football game too. It was really fun. Connell won 47 to 0!! 

        On Saturday was the homecoming dance. The gym was decorated with silver and blue balloons and streamers. Everybody's dresses and suits were so pretty. I wore a red dress with silver jewelry. The snacks there were a little weird for a high school dance though, they had Oreo's, goldfish and m and m's there. The one thing that I will complain about is they only played one country song! But my friends and I had so much fun! I can't wait for next year.
